Southern Custom Meat founder Daniel May was born and raised in Texas. His family raised beef cattle and processed their own cows for their home use. He apprenticed for 5 years under James "Jim" Lillie, a TSTC meat processing professor. Daniel brings 14 years of experience working in local retail & commercial butcher shops cutting & processing, smoking, making sausage & bacon as well as specialty meat products using beef, pork, deer, chicken, sheep & goat. A family owned and operated venture, Southern Custom Meat is committed to offering you the best service processing the meat you've worked hard to raise.
