In 2002 Ernie Zimmerman bought a small butcher shop in Summersville, MO, known as Zimmerman Meat Processing. He owned and operated that business for 15 years. In 2017 he sold it and relocated along with his family to Knob Noster, MO. He and some of his children worked for Vernon Kempf at Kempf’s Custom Butchering for 3 1/2 years. Over time, there seemed to become more of a need for another custom processing facility to keep up with the high demand. In December 2020, Ernie opened his own facility in La Monte, MO. The store opened January 6, 2021. We process beef, hogs, wild game, and more. We also have a store with a variety of different products and snacks! We look forward to “meating” your needs!
